Postpaid or prepaid plan?
This is practically a question that every cellular phone user should battle to answer well. However, this might not be the case always since most people simply find themselves using a given subscription without comparing. Well, both postpaid and prepaid offers may look attractive. You however need to know what you want.
A postpaid subscription is a type where you use airtime then pay later. Prepaid is where you get to pay before you use it. Prepaid in most cases tends to be more expensive for users who use a lot of airtime. If you calculate monthly the average that you are likely to use, you will realize that you are spending more than you would on a post pain plan. However, if you use little airtime monthly, then prepaid will be cheaper for you since you might not complete all the minutes offered for a postpaid plan.
Additionally, postpaid has a way of controlling how much you use on airtime. Your service provider will always give you a given amount of airtime and so it is you to plan how you want to use them. This is a service that you will not get with prepaid. This explains why you are likely to get a shock whenever you do the math of your expenditure.
Whether you choose a prepaid or postpaid plan should therefore depend on how much airtime you need every month. You can always have an estimated value. If you need little airtime, then prepaid is a better deal for you. Otherwise, you need a postpaid.
